China"s annual inflation rate averaged 1.8 percent from 2020 to 2022, one of the lowest among the G20 members, much lower than the global average at 5.5 percent and also notably lower than that of the U.S. at 4.6 percent, the European Union (EU) at 4.2 percent and the UK at 4.1 percent.
